Default Someone recommend a coaxial 6.5" for the rear

I plan on using JL XR650CXi in the front and was going to use the stock Bose speakers in the rear but I heard that they have a high impedance (17ohms?).

I don't use the rears much but want to replace them while I'm upgrading rather than wish I did.

So what is a known good mid or coaxial spaeker for the rear without spending a lot of money? $50-60 would be OK.

I was thinking of these.

TIA

i have the zr's in the front and was going to put the same or xr comps in the back for rear fill, but i ended up putting in the boston acoustic sl 65 in the back...they work very well together...and rear fill does make a difference from stock to new

Spend more money on your fronts and disconnect the rears ... done properly .. this will actually sound better.

Not louder, but better.

I dunno if the bose is differnet but I know that the non-bose rears are 32-ohms.

Some people like rear fill and some dont. Replace your fronts. Then turn the fade all the way to the front that wy only the fronts play. See if you like the sound. Then put it to middle again, see which you prefer. With or without rears. Alpine type S's would sound pretty nice though

Rear fill isn't necesary as Jim noted above, and unless you have timing correction with your HU, I would recommend against it

I bought them, they're cheap enough. I agree the rears are optional. I've run for a while with just the fronts and like it but I also don't mind a little rear once in a while.

I plan on running them directly from the HU cuz they arn't worth adding an amplifier for em.

Thanks
