i was just wondering how your basslink I or II is sounding so far. i was doing a search on the web and some people complain that the amp or sub stops working after a year or so. i just ordered basslink II and just wanted to know the outcome?

I have a basslink II mounted flat under the rear strut bar. It does sound pretty decent in the small area of the Z and can get fairly loud. Just dont expect mega bass or incredible SQ out of it. A higher quality 10" or 12" sub in a box will outperform it, but you have to deal with a separate amp, box and yadda yadda. It does blow the stock bose sub away though.

I used to have a basslink in the compartment were the bose sub used to be. It sounds much better than the bose system and still looks stock. I had it for about 3 months then decided to remove it for 2 10's in bigger box under the strut bar.

I dont have a Z yet but I do have a basslink. I have owned it for a little bit over 3 years. Thats at lease 2 more years than your 1 year cut off.

Well good for you.
If i had to do it over again, i would just get a 10" with a good amp.
Basslink does save some space though.
