Hey Im looking into getting a 2003 350z sometime soon and I wanted to know about the bose system I want to maintain the warrenty but have the best audio I can get..so I guess the bose will be alright but I wanted to know how many watts the speakers are and another helpfull thing would be how big the sub is etc. Thanks

If you do a search you will find almost the entire board agrees that the bose sytem really blows chunks. Dont hold out trying to find a Z that has a bose system as opposed to one that has the OEM CD player. They both stink and need to be removed from Z dashboards everywhere.

if you have never had an aftermarket stereo the Bose system will probably sound ok to you.

well i know what bose is like i have a acura tl with the bose in now its alright but for cheaper id wanna put it a diff sub and speakers but oh well its fine the way it is better then most cars anyways but the main thing is if i change it the warrenty gets screwed then so im trying not to change it

nissan recalled all the 03s with Bose if i'm not mistaken.
Bose system is ok depends on the music you listen to.

all the warranty things that would be effected by doing a new stereo expire after 1 year / 12000 miles... The electrical warranty is 1/12... 2003, dont worry about it... if you are going to do aftermarket, its almost better to go without bose...

to my understanding thats the warranty life of the electrical system... i may verywell be wrong... it might be 3/36, but either way... most 03's are out of that by now...

i have an 03 touring and the speakers were not blown, but my bose completely died on me. yeah... twas a fun adventure

i have bose on my car.. doesn't sound too great.. i think u should go for the aftermarket speakers.. i heard it's A LOT better..

I just got rid of every bose piece i got in my car.....
i am runnin all JL audio sound system, its kinda expensive but it def worth it

am ruunin the ZR speaker in front and XR speakers in the back

i ll soon hook up 3 JL audio W6V2

i love my ZRs....

down side is... U ll find it a pain in the *** to put aftermarket speakers instead of the Bose in your door panel....

but hey its all worth working for.... Thanks to Nick he made things work....

damn i cant believe i payed 5500$ for all the JL components in my car

I had a TL with the Bose too. The Acura Bose is a lot better than the Bose in the Z. The one in my Z ate 4 cds and never spit them out. For awhile all I had was radio and tape until I took it out and got an Alpine...

I don't argue this bose system isn't that great. But keep in mind Bose speakers make music in a dif way then traditional speakers so size really doesnt matter so much. Look at all their home audio speakers... They are known for getting big sound from small speakers.

To answer your question I believe its 210 watts, but a search would give the exact amount. I've heard upgrading the head unit is your best bet as the stock one is very weak. My opinion as I got the Bose is if you are used to aftermarket sound dont worry about finding a Bose Z.

The Bose sounds decent, just not loud, so shop for what you need.

ok well if its true that the acura tl bose system is better then the 350z then im def just going to get a reg 350z for like $3k cheaper instead of one with the bose and get aftermarket setup i was thinking something big tho usually something i customize its done right and good. I put alot of time into customizing anything and when I do it comes out good. I was probally thinking along the line then of 2 12inchers in the trunk and ill see for the speaker setup as time goes on when i get it.

The bose system really does blow. Bose really isnt a name its an acronym Bye Other Stereo Equipment. My next mod is a new stereo system and i cant wait till i get it.
