This is for the people who had an Acura CL Type S with Navi before buying their 350Z.Which Navigation system do you think is better the Acura or the 350Z?
I know with the Acura,it has taken them forever to come up with updates for the new roads.I hope Nissan will update their system.

I have/had an Acura CL Type S w/Nav and it was cool. I like the touch screen a lot. I have to say though the Navi in the 350 looks cooler and seems to have a better/bigger screen. Not sure how usable it is though since I havn't used it before.

I have a navi in my 3.2 TL. I like the touch screen system. It is a lot easier and faster to enter destinations. The Acura system seems to do a better job of setting a course from one location to another. The Z system seems to zig zag through all of the back streets. It has had me turn at the end of every one or two blocks, rather than routing me to a more direct, main street.
I like the looks of the bird's eye view on the Z system and some of the features - like finding the nearest Burger King - The Z system is also faster - and more polite - when re calculating a new route when you decide to forego her advice and go a different route. The Acura keeps saying "U turn if possible." The Z just finds a new route.
Both systems work well - I am surprized by how different they are. I just get used to one and then have to relearn how to do the other.
