I put in this Proform shift light bc i had it in my last car and liked it. Easy dial on the back to set rpm, no "pills" needed. Heres some night pics with the cap on and off the light. Cap off is alot brighter, to see better on a bright day i guess. Shift light RPM set to 3k bc i didnt want to wake up too many neighbors

i think $47 shipped from ebay. Not your style? Just a small tube, i wish the stock one was bigger and brighter. I know this shift light is kinda unnecessary but its a cool little mod that will keep my eyes on the road and will make sure i dont over rev if im pushing the car hard. A lot of people liked it and always asked about it when i had it in my last car.
Back to 1994... Don't forget to also put the matching 7 inch Autometer pie tach. LOL *reminiscing* It's cool though, haven't really seen it on a Z yet.

Our stock shift light sucks...has anyone seen the one on the m3 ??? MUCH cooler *jealous--->me* actually much much cooler and more effective~ Our stock shift light blinks...and then stays on...it's seriously like...wtf...total waste of that one LED... I'm thinking about bring back that huge pie autometer...in CF of course!

Not feeling it at all, Im just too used to seeing shift lights on slow cars/people that dont need them. A shift light on a Z with 20's is a no no in my book. Those 2 mods send out a contradictory message IMO....

My personal favorite other than the massive tach like you mentioned are the cars with pillar guages that clearly are not FI and have no use or reason to have the extra guages. 99% of the time these people rock both the tach and the pillar
