4 Channel Amp Help!!! Picked My Highs, Now Need A Nice AMP!!!
I'll agree with jran some - you need to have some decent cables but there's no reason ot pay $90 for 1 set of 17ft long RCAs. I choose stinger brand and buy through www.sounddomain.com because they are of excellent quality and low cost.

From: Where I have yet to cross another Lemans Z!?
I was totally surprised by the Diamonds, esp. since I really never head of them before. Ends up there is only one dealer here, they are "high end" all around so until now I never really stopped by b/c I wasn't looking to spend that much before.
The last two days I've heard MB, Image Dynamics, Boston, Dyn, Focal. Of all of those the Dyn Audio was simply unreal! But I'm not looking to drop $750 on just a com kit. The Diamond's were just a good 90% of what the Dyn sounded like and they sounded so much better than all the others! Odd thing was I was expecting the MBs to be this great sounding set, wasn't impressed at all. The tweet sounded really hollow, to bright! The S600s was really true! Pretty funny b/c there were sounds that some of the other speakers they played didn't even pick up on. He had an Eagles Live CD playing and you could actually hear the quick breaths taking in-between longer lines on the Dyn's and Diamonds where others couldn't even play it. Ended up being alittle more than what I initially wanted to spend on the fronts and fill but I wanted to do it right this time and not be shopping for new ones 3-4 months later b/c I was having the "should of" symptoms!
But now I'm still on amps! LOL Was talking about doing a full Diamond system put they $$$ on those would seriously set me well over what I have for the system now. So wanted to see what you guys had to say about PPI and Orion amps? I'm an old school fan of those two, back with the Art Series from PPI and those kick *** little HCCA Orion's! I know they were "the amps" that far back but I've been out the car audio picture for some time! How are they today? Is the name and quality just as good, if not better than back then? Or have they become just another mainstream sell out company cutting corners to stock large chain stores everywhere?
