I personally never heard the image dynamics components, but I heard they put out a ton of midbass.

im a little hesitant to get ID until i see some hard proof that theyre not going anywhere andstart making some product again

dynadio is a viable option i guess, could someone steer mein the right direction though. i calleda shop about a month ago about some and the cheapest ones they had were like 1200 bucks. thats way too much for me.

ID got injected with some capital and will be reorganizing and starting their production again soon, but you are right, you shouldnt wait until their stuff comes out again.

out of the ones you listed, its kinda of a toss up, i personally would prolly tak the matrix elite, but hte midbass on those isnt THAT good.

not sure what price range you are looking at but the DLS ultimate UP6 at around 375, produces a good bit of midbass with av ery smooth laid back tweeter

another speaker to consider thats a little more pricey is the Morel Integra coaxial

Gti is likely to be most midbass you will find in a component setup. The tweeter is not harsh at all .. but I wouldn't call it laid back. It's forward and alive .. similar to JBL's high end products ... but by no means is it like a Klipsch speaker.

Check the sig ..... I'm a little biased though

Rainbow makes some BAD *** speakers for off axis installation

The profi and the professional line are both very good. The professional line has better more accurate mid-bass and highs but is geared more towards SQ (IMO higher amp wattage with less volume from teh head unit to produce a more accurate replication of sound while lessing distortion). The profi line is similar to that of a very high quality Dynaudio or focal line of speaker but offers the ability to blast the music and not experience distortion, but not as acoustically perfect as the professional line. If you blast your music with the windows open go profi. If you find yourself sitting in your car to enjoy your favorite music go professional...I love the professional line.

i dont even see a "professional" line on their site. but i am a windows closed to enjoy the music kinda guy. but i am a metal head. i just am a metal head that enjoys hearing everything accurately and with a good deal of midbass.

16psibrick, can you send me a pm on some more info on the dls sets please.

again, im primarily looking for the best midbass i can get out of a simple 2 way set in deadened doors.

I don't know of many people that will argue that the GTi's are about the best you can get for this, with good tweeters to boot .

You can find the 3-way dynaudio component setup on ebay for 700 ish. I believe the model is MK360 (that's what i have anyway). IMHO they are the best speakers you can get...
