Hey guys, anyone out there doing a good stealth install? I am trying to figure out where to mount my JL 500/5 amp where it is out of sight.

I searched all over but everyone seems to mounting everything in plain sight. I just don't think its too smart to mount stereo equipment in plain site so I like to keep everything looking as stock as possible.

Is the stock sub chamber large enough to mount this amp in? Its freakin 20 inchs wide!

BTW Nazar you rock! I love that corner loaded sub that build. I gotta have oyou make me one along with a set of those door pods.

I have a total stealth install as well... 2 10" Image Dynamics subs with a JL 500/1 amp in my spare tire compartment. Two subs point straight up towards the sky; amp is mounted next to it. Also I have another Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.4 amp right behind the driver's seat (location of stock sub). That amp is pretty wide as well (check PG's website for dimensions) and fits there fine.

 

You have enough room in the compartment behind the seat to install your 500/5 in.
