Cool, I've already placed my order and I'm putting it on either way. Can it be removed without detection if something were to happen and I didnt want to go through a hassle?
That all depends on how cleanly it was installed. If you take your time and make small splices you can remove the wiring and make it almost impossible to tell that something was added. You don't have to cut any wires to install the module, just tap in to them.
