Nazar, I did try the 10w7 in multiple sealed confgs off of a 500/1. I really didnt like the sub because I found it to hammer, and nothing else. I need something musical that wont taint the music. With that said, it did hammer like no other 10 I've heard before but I cant enjoy a sub unless its blending well.

Turn the gain or the bass down. I have 3 10W6v2's and it hits soft as can be then I turn the bass up to 8 on the head unit and the windsheild wipers bounce off the front windsheild. And your head hurts that you have to turn the radio down. I love it though

AHHHHH I must agree with STLZ's comment above post. (BTW STLZ I am very happy to hera you like the box and Subs )
must be properly tuned with the 500/1 and it realy makes a big difference where you have your Sub level at the head unit. I have heard the W7 in many application. It can sound like the meanest sub, Yet it will and can be tuned to play very soft and mild tones... I ma sorry I just love the W7

Nazar, do you feel comfortable with the 500/1 pushing the 10W7-3 in your sub enclosure? I don't want to compromise sound for cost. Please give me your opinion on what the difference would be between the 500/1 and 1000/1 in your enclosure?
Thanks.

OK, you know you will have twice the power with 1000/1 But more importantly you will have much more control over the subwoofer with any kind of imaginable music. Properly tuned 1000 watts into 10w7 WILL be a sweat combination. This is assuming money is no object. Remember W7 will be in a sealed box and can handle the power. Sealed box enclosures tend to like more power. This is not to say 500/1 won't do the job, It is just that 1000 will do it a lot better and with a lot less effort.
It is like going 120Mph in a Civic Si and doing 120Mph in a 350Z. which car do you think is working harder? Again Money being no object.
Vic in your case, Both amps will be fine with a 10W7, Just figure out the finances and make your decision based on what else can you improve with the difference of the money. If you can't find anything else well then you know the answer. But if you think you will sacrifice, for example front and rear speaker quality versus the 1000/1 then get the 500/1 and get the better front speakers. Just balancing the money to the right ends , that's all...

I want to do my system right the first time so I think I'll take your advice Nazar and stick with your original setup. I'll need to save up some so I am shooting for June to do the install.
TXSTYLE, you're right. Let us know when you've decided on your system as I'm sure it will be kickass.
