Default kenwood 6019

Dear friends,

I am in the process of installing my kenwood 6019 receiver with gps.

I am using the metra wire harness. It appears that I have some extra wires lelft over from the kenwood receiver. Is it ok to not connect the extra wires from receiver?

If some one can adivice, Your imput is very welcom

I'll shoot a few pics tomorrow and post them. It is very nice and once you read the manual, easy to use. The NAV is pretty cool too. The reroute is VERY quick

There is only one orange wire left and it doesn't seem to be needed for anything. Everything on mine works including the auto dimmer. There are also 2 wires that are not used on the Metra kit. I am assuming that is because I don't have the Bose system.

George from Pasadena,
Yes it should be fine to leave those wires. Just make sure they wouldn't accidentally be grounded by touching bare metal.
