I have a couple ideas for the amp rack. I'm going to try to design two versions tomorrow.......a single level and a double level for 2 amps. I will post pics tomorrow if all goes well.

very nice looking amp rack. Going to be working on a passenger side one also?

PS: Do you think you could build another corner box for me for the other side?

Thanks! If I do a passenger side rack it won't be for awhile.....

BTW....I will be selling these for $45.00 shipped.($33.00 + $12.00 shipping)

If anyone wants to make one themselves feel free to PM me for the cut sizes. There is some sanding involved and the hole alignment issue to deal with.

I do intend on making the passenger side sub box but I don't know when I'll get to it.

thanks mike

Here's a sneak peak of the 2 level rack. These are just rough templates I assembled for the pictures......a little fine tuning and covered in carpet it should be a really nice amp rack. Probably have some in a couple days.

Will they be set up so that the double amp rack won't move around?

great job so far they look great but im worried that they will over heat on the dble amp rack. or em i just worying too much. i dont htink there is enough room for the lower level amp to circulate air in there.

Yes, what you see in the pictures will all be screwed together then bolted into the car using existing bolt holes......it will be solid.

thanks mike

Oh also i forgot. maybe you also could install 2 sliding loovers under the rack so they can slide out for easy access or show maybe, thats if you have anough room.

There's around 3/4" clearance on top of the amp. I've seen setups with the amps practically bolted together and haven't seen any posts of overheating problems.... I would suggest adding the Bose sub cover (available at courtesyparts.com) for ventilation and a fan can always be added if a overheating problem occurs.

thanks mike

I thought of doing that.....add a couple draw slides on a platform but it just started to get to complicated. Maybe in the future

thanks mike

Wow that 2 level amp rack looks great, my problem now is I believe my amps are to long to fit in there I think i'll have to move to an alternate spot, probably the spare tire wheel area to put my amps. You dont happen to have any solution or amp rack for in there do ya?
