hey guys how much does a stock battery weigh? and where can i get a Braille lightweight batter???????????

 

not sure about the stock battery weight, but check the marketplace, they is a group buy going on in the vender marketplace

 

oddyssey (sp?) makes good ones.

 

I think the stock battery weights in around 30 lbs, maybe more. The Braille advertised in the Group Buy section weights 11 lbs.

 

You need to first make sure the lightweight battery produces enough amps to maintain all your electronics without straining you alternator. Alternators are'nt designed to charge contiuously, this is why they have regulators built in. A small battery maynot be sufficient enough to handle everything {electronics today put a huge demand on batteries}, which will ultimately burn up the alternator.

 

I think it's about 43lbs. I read this on 350z tech I believe.
