Default single sub enclosure-access to spare tire

Does anyone know if a single sub enclosure that will fit behind or under the strut bar that still gives you access to your spare tire, etc. without having to take the enclosure out?

Ive seen the ones from zenclosures and the ones that Nazar makes but it seems it comes right up flush against the strut bar which Im assuming will not let you get to the spare.

Thanks in advance

I don't think any of the popular ones will allow easy access to the spare. It's cramped back there and you will likely have to remove an enclosure first to get the spare. However, you may want to look at the boxes that sit forward of the strut bar betweeb the cubby and strut..or inside the cubby if you are very concerned with accessing the spare.

Sorry, I don't really have one, but as a Clippers Season Ticket holder I had to chime in

I plan on selling the Z in the next few months though and if your interested in a 12" tire-well enslosure I'll be selling mine...only problem is, it requires getting rid of your spare

The false trunk floor covers the area under the strut bar..how are you able to take out the spare with the Zenclosure in? Wouldn't you have to bend the false floor?

The JL Audio Stealthbox fits between the strut bar and the seats. Leaving you full access to your spare tire, and its fiberglass.

Much respect.
It takes a true fan to be a Clippers season ticket holder. (Unless you just got them last season to jump on the bandwagon)

I have a fiberglass enclosure that fits on the driver's side of the spare tire. It is ~.65ft^3 and is made for a 10" ... check it out in the private classifieds.

And you're able to easily remove the cardboard piece and carpet that lies on top of the spare?

Yep, the carpet and the plastic thing lift right out. You will need to trim the plastic piece to fit the box though. It is minor ~5in^2 of the corner need to be removed.

So I assume once it is installed, it aint coming out unless you want a whole on the side of the "trunk".

Also, are you willing to sell just the enclosure now or are you doing the sub and enclosure combo thing. (Just found your post in the classifieds)

Well ... the just remove the "felt" panel on the driver's side. It is quite simple, I can do it for you. When you remove it (if you need to) you will have on open area that you just need to replace the felt piece.

I have since sold the subwoofer, so the enclosure is all I have availible.

glad you found the post .. I was tring to find some pics of it on my comp here and couldnt.

The Zenclosure fits under the strut bar and you can access your spare tire by just trimming the cardboard cover. If you need pictures of this I can post some up for you when I get off of work today.
