Any truck stop in America usually has a 3 ft. extendor for the A\C plug. I believe it is $10.

Just mounted my bel rx65, mirror bracket and invisicord. The only problem is the bel bracket is a little flimsy when it locks into the detector. It doesn't lock solidly, it's slight but does have movement and with it mounted on the bracket it's too short. The buttons are just underneath the mirror, so you have to bend it down or take it off to adjust it or turn it off. I like mine pointing even and it looks like the mirror is blocking the rear laser pickup at level. I will test it tomorrow with my golf laser distance binocs and see if the rear is still protected. Other than that, it looks great up there.

You do know that you can adjust the mirror up and down right not just swivel up and down? Therefore, you can make the mirror-holder (attached to mirror and windshield) move. You then have to unbend the metal piece that locks the detector in place to level the detector.

I have the Bel RX65 Pro and mine clears the mirror just fine. In fact, there's quite a bit of room between mirror and detector.

Although the bracket is pretty good. I don't know I just seem to like the V1 that is placed right into the mirror. It conceals the unit 100% comletely out of front windshield view and IMHO looks better. Speaking of which, does anyone know who sells those V1 mirrors?

I didn't inspect the mirror mount, thought it just swivels, didn't know it extends. Mounted the bracket as far down as could and then bent the bel bracket to make it level. My detector is practically touching the bottom of the mirror, I like the way it looks that way since it's not hanging down too much, but i'll check tomorrow and extend the mirror a little. Thanks, for the info.

It's not so much as "extending" as just repositioning. Most mirrors do more than just swivel around - they can go up, down, left, right.

you can check with this guy, he installed his V1 remote display in the mirror.

Just readjusted the mirror, you're right there are 2 swivels, one on the mirror side and one on the windshield side. I was able to get about a 1/4 inch more clearance so all is fine. Working great now. The short invisicord is perfect, just plug it right into the back of the mirror connector and tie wrap.
