Default Created my Door pods

I worked on this over the weekend. I still have to vinyl wrape them and install them. This is stage one of my Audio re-construction. After this it will be my Sub box. Im going to do a corner style box for my Alpine Type-X and relocate my amps. Good thing is i can do it in stages.

Comments welcomed

Thanks for the complements.
The vinyl i got is almost a dead match to the frost interior.

As for some questions,
1) what did you make them out of? How long was the process?
The ring is made out of 1/4" MDF and the rest is made out of fiberglass.
As for as how long, since this was my third time making something out of fiberglass i took my time, no need to rush.

2) want to do one more set for me LOL.
hehe, sorry im leaving that for the other guy that made the others in the forum. Cant steel his glory

3) How many sub are u going with.
i still sticking with my Alpine Type-X sub thats in my car. I am redoing the sub box as well, and going with a corner trunk mount, fiberglass box. I want to lighten the wieght in the car, by removing all the 3/4" MDF box/wood out will made a big differece,(at lest in my car)

When i get ready todo the rear audio, im going to weigh the fiberglass box and then the MDF box that i currently have and see how much weight i reduced it by.

Does anybody make FG corner boxes for sale? That's what I want, as I want to keep weight down as much as possible.

Which model Infinity's are those? Has anyone seen grilles like these (Black with Silver trim ring) Infinity or not for sale anywhere?
