Default Subwoofer upfront in passenger footwell...

What do you guys think of mounting this driver in a custom fiberglass enclosure upfront, firing directly at the passenger?

Recommended enclosure size: 0.35-0.7 Cubic Feet

I'm already getting bored with my current set-up (Infinity 12 in a heavy custom box) and while I'd lose some output, I'd lose a 70lb enclosure too.

Never been a huge fan of anything Pioneer, but it's tempting....they also have a 12 too.

I thought about something smaller, like a 6" under the passenger dash. But there just isn't enough room up front.

It's a nice sub. If you rarely carry passengers over 5'10 or so ... I'd say go for it ... just put a nice grill on it to protect it (just in case)

It could be mounted under the seat too - sort of like the Rockford Fosgate woofer in the Nissan Xterra. Depending on the plumbing of the passenger they might enjoy it.
