Default the best sub to replace the original sub

whats the best sub i could put on the rear of my seat, i'm thinking in taking my sub out and replaceing it with something more powerful. but i need someone thats has done it allready.. please telll me the size and brand of sub... thank you

I used a MTX RT-10. It fits fine. It's probably not the loudest but all I wanted was some more bass and I wasn't interested in having people 3 counties away hear it. I also replaced the bose sub amp with a small 40 watt amp I picked up on ebay.

yeah I tried that too but in all I end up buying the understrut subwoofer box...and it sound 1000x! better!

right now i have a box that weight like 50lbs and a sub that ways like 20 lbs.. 12" eclipse that has a big magnet. it' sounds bad ***. but too heavy.

Get a 10" with a Neodymium magnet assembly if you care about weight.

Pioneer's shallow mount series comes to mind.
