Default Kenwood Screen Install

Hey everyone, long time listener, first time poster.

Just had a Kenwood DDX6019 7inch screen with in built tv/dvd installed, also installed was a revesing camera (not that I have any trouble reversing, but its cool), and an iPod adapter. They also threw in an Alpine sub, in the stock location and a sony amp.

Theres only one problem, that since the install my outside temp gauge iisn't working, just displays a line, and 'icy' is lit up. I'll be taking it back to get fixed, but any body have any ideas as to why it's happening??

Heres a few pics from when I got it home a few hours ago.

Hope you like it, I do.

Default yeah looks great!

I just been searching for similar unit with sat nav and phone bluetooth integration (i know i know how much can one system do well). Anyway your kenwood unit looks great. Can it also do the above? Pioneer have new system out AVIC-HDIBT but haven't heard of any reviews yet.
Best of luck

Thanks, yeah the kenwood can do sat nav, i'm waiting until around xmas time when they will apparently be alot cheaper. Not sure if it will do bluetooth phone? although it does have a phone icon on the remote control, so it may be possible.

Have you made sure that you plugged back in the wires to all the gauges?

The bluetooth part number for that unit is KCABT100. You should be able to buy it in about a week. You can dial from the screen and download your phonebook to the unit.

I started the car this morning and the temp gauge is working fine, thanks for the hot tip.

Does anyone know where i could get some grey plastic for around the head unit to match the rest of the centre console to make it look a bit more oem??
