Default Focal Utopia 165W -VS- Focal Polykevlar 165K2

Well I was totally set on doing the Diamond Audio S600s HEX component kit up front but turns out I got the run around from the shop I ordered with and after calling a handful of places this weekend it seem that's no one else has them, they each pretty much said they were on factory backorder for approx 3.5 weeks if not more.

So now I have a ton of other things laying around for the system and pretty much cant move forward until I have my fronts and rears. I'm thinking about maybe just spending alittle more $$ and get some Focals. But the only down side is there are ZERO focal Dealers around here or even close by to at least listen to them!

I was REALLY impressed by the HEX components by Diamond, S600s (silk dome tweeters kit) and wondering if anyone that is familiar with or even has a set of the Utopia's or Polykevlar's K2s can give me some feedback or pro's and con's of each and if they are "REALLY" worth the $$$$$

I have used both set of the focals. The 165k2 is a very very nice set. Midbass is strong, midrange is clear and sharp but the tweeters can get out of hand at high volume. The utopia is just another level. The midbass is even stronger, livelier midrange and sound more spacious and deep, tweeters are smoother also. The utopia is almost twice the retail price of the PK for a reason. If you have the money to spend, go for the utopia.
