I'm getting my Touring model next month, how can I tell if it has the old or new (replacement) amp from Nissan??

The old amp was only on cars manufactured before sept 2002.

On your door frame it specifies build date. By it you can tell if you might be affected.

If you are not sure still, your dealer can tell you based on the serial number. The TSB specifies the serial numbers it applies to.

I guess I'm ok then. Now all I have to do is replace the speakers and head unit.

I am going with MB Quartz RSC216 for the doors. Good prices and you get speakers, tweeters and a crossover for each door.

Not sure If I will do the back.

Planning on improving the sub some... same size / stock location, just something of better quality.

Good luck.
