Check out the link in my signature... I've got a 12" Sub AND an amp under the rear strut. All custom and still have the trunk to carry day to day crap.

I've been lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) my wifes last two cars came with in dash 6 disc changers (one was even an MP3 player as well) from the factory and both had a line in aux input so I never had a need to pass down my Alpine unit to her. Between 6 CDs/MP3s, line in for her Ipod, and XM sat radio in each car she had more music then she could handle. Of course the downside is I haven't had an excuse to switch to a new head unit in my car either. But I have a feeling its about time for a double din LCD unit soon. I've been waiting and watching how XM and Sirius traffic is coming along and I like what I see so far. Now if only Alpine would drop the price on their NAV system and I'd pick up that, the W200, and the Sirius traffic tuner...

Yes I did. Very sick... I just keep thinking about how slick the W200 and Alpine NAV system would be. Just wish it wasn't so damned expensive. I also really like the new Eclipse double din screen with built in HD for NAV. But I'm an Alpine guy at heart. Never owned anything but Alpine head units.

The W200 is a sweet piece with an awesome price. A buddy of mine in our local Z club has the Eclipse double din unit w/ nav, VERY nice. I could've gone the double din route, but I had the 9835 from the SE-R and really wanted to use it in the Z, so I built the system around it As a bonus I don't have to look down as far to look at the LCD screen

Clarion in dash with Skoshe pocket. Replacing with a DVD/NAV unit next month.

Boston Acoustics Z6 in Wicked CAS door pods

Old school Carver M2120 amps (bridged) for the fronts with the Z6 crossovers behind the driver's seat

Rockford Fosgate P3001 for the sub, the Sirius tuner and an old school SoundStream for the rears.

Boston G210 set at 2 ohms

Rockford Amp controller in the ashtray.

Default for sound quality - straight up. tell me what you think

pioneer head
front a/d/s components
rear orion speakers
two orion amps
10" orion subs
optima red batt

box isn't like the one under strut. it stretches from after strut to bottom of amps. meaning huge space for sound to hit. not so showy, but sounds excellent. just have one problem guys. how to stop rattle of break light cover on rear window?
