here' what I'm looking for:
-single din
-plays DVDs w/ a video out
-pre-amp outs (will be connected to amp)
-not too expensive
-no need for a built-in screen
-this will be the only HU...so it needs to do everything (I've seen others who have one 'normal' HU, and then a DVD player)

btw: I've almost finished moving into my new house and the garage looks to be 2 weeks from finishing...after that, I can finally start on this install. If it helps, here's what I already have:

front: Kicker 6 1/2" components (KS6.2)
Rear: Kicker 6 1/2" Coaxial (055KS60)
sub: Kicker 10" Subwoofer (CVR10)
Amp: Kicker 5-Channel Amplifier (06ZX7005)
-I'll be building my own sub box.
--I have a 7" Archos portable DVR that I plan on connecting to the video out of the HU...

do they make any single din hu with the dvd player and with navi.? I was thinking about just getting the monitor and the hu, but I want navi too.
