carputer question, in dash DVD?
Anyone know of an aftermarket in dash DVD player that will work with my carputer so that I can use the windows touchscreen on it? I saw a post on a DVD player a few weeks ago, but I cannot find the post now.
DVD-Rom drive? or stand alone DVD player?
I prefer to run the movies off a dvd drive from my pc, and just figure out a way to mount an external dvd drive in the stock radio location (or below it if you need a single-din head unit.
or get something like this:

that has a screen and drive. Although if you already have the screen in the nav cubi you'd be have two lcd/touchscreens...
wouldn't be too bad unless you run into problems configuring both touchscreens...
link us if you find what you were looking for

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks! My only concern is what kind of processors and D/A converters they use. Would that be a problem or could I process the music at the PC? Would running it through that unit degrade the sound of the music? I could add an external signal processor but I was hoping to avoid that.
i really would not worry about the sound, because remember if the sound is comeing out your car pc fine then this should have no problems if you want to u can add a usb sound card 5.1 but i would think its over kill if your sound is fine with the current set up
