US Amps seems to have dropped off from the audio world a bit in recent years. I got a US Amps USA-400 (older model line) back in 98. The amps is amazing. 1200 watts at 2 ohms all day long. I've actually had it running in one car or another since 98 with not a single issue. Its currently in my wifes Titan running a pair of JBL 8"s so its definitely no where no its max output. At one time is ran as many as 4 12s, 2 15s, etc, etc. Over the years I've just kept transferring it between cars and I've loved it since day 1.
Heres some pics of it in my Frontier about 4 years ago:

Heres some pics of it in my Titan(currently still there):

I run a pair of older US Amps myself. Click here.

The AX line had to be revamped after thier intial release in the summer of 2005. At the time they had a horrible failure rate, and I had to send back 4 out of the 5 amps i purchased at least 2 times each. Needless to say I got my money back and switched.

They reintroduced the AX line Jan 2006 and so far they look like they've been holding up. My opinion isn't as high as it once was, but they are still pretty decent amps unless I start receiving more bad amps.

US Amps back in the day were great amps. But ended up running into some money problems (from what I hear) a few years ago and the product started to have problems....

Not sure about that since the major shareholder of US Amps recently purchased RE Audio.

It looks awesome in my opinion.

The amp is behind the 39. That car belongs to Steven Jackson of the St. Louis Rams.

I ran US AMPS back in the day when they first came out in the early 1990's. I had a crank-it-up vehcile and was running 2 50 watt high current US AMPS. From the looks of the pictures, it doesn't look like they have changed in the 15 years since I had them powering my show truck. Damn good amps back then however!
