Alpine IVA-W200 i-Pod Error01 problem??
I bought an Alpine IVA-W200 and had it professionally installed along with the rest of my system and the everything has worked perfect for 2 months until now.
I was listening to music playing off of my I-Pod and all at once it stopped and it was displaying "Searching" on the screen than it displayed "ERROR01" after about a minute. I have looked in the manual and all it states is that this is a communication problem. I have reset the IPod and cycled the power as it instructed in the manual and I still have the same problem.
My Ipod works fine and so does everything elso on the Alpine Unit. I am a little perplexed. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions??

Hey 2fast4thelaw:
I have the w-200,,,,,I had the same problem happen to me,,,,what I found was the plug going into my Ipod had somehow not clicked in really good. It took me some time figuring it out,,,cause I would plug my Ipod in,,it would sound like it clicked in,,but when i would move the plug around a little connected to my Ipod, it would start working....now, when I plug my Ipod in,,I really push the plug into my Ipod,,I have had no problems since...I hope this helps,,,good luck...let me know if I can help again...
