What is the secret to making a false floor inthe 350Z

What size wood and what type of material do I need, and where do I get plexiglass or fibergalss to display my amps?

 

yikes, it sounds like you should do alot more reading and research before attempting to build a false floor install...

but to asnwer your questions generically:

1. wood i use 1/2" mdf or 5/8" mDF depending on install for the false floor it self.

2. plexi you can find at most home depot, i get some from www.mcmaster.com

3. fiberglass you can find at most homedepot and autoparts store, i order mine from www.uscomposites.com

hmm no progress pics but if you search by my name on the forum, i think on a coupla installs i posted pics of the intalls withOUT the fake floor on top to show the support structure underneath, perhaps it can give yhou a better idea of how the whole thing fits together?
