New 350 owner w/o nav----
For all who care, any opinions on the Kenwood Excelon LZ-800W matched up with the KNA-DV2100 ?
Its a seperate monitor/touch screen, which I like better than the in-dashers. Its dimensions are
W-7.011,
H-3.973
Diagonal 7.974
I will measure tomorrow morning, but if anyone has tried the combo, (Im gonna add a TV tuner as well), & it fits please lemme know
Also I hear various reports that just an upgrade in speakers and tweets will enhance the BOSE. T or F? I always liked the Infinity Kappas. I have a great sony HU left over from my last car, but I just love the orange lights matching everything else, and 6 cds in tha dash aint bad neither!
---Dazed & Confused Newbie
P.S, the only way 4 me to tolerate the Bose loudly is to drop the BASS down to 0.

Unless you make a custom dash piece, the 800w won't fit (meaning it can't hid behind the stock dvd screen pop-up lid).
You might want to take a look at the 701w, it's a little smaller and might fit underneath the lid.
Also, there is a replacement coming for the Kenwood DVD system due this summer ( I saw it at CES ). It's footprint is much smaller, much better user interface (i own the current version) and will be CHEAPER.
