Default Anyone seen (installed) SR7?

I was at a client's place yesterday, and he does car stereo, video, wheels, etc.

Anyway, I've been talking to him about the Passport 8500 since I got the Z back in October.

And he gets all excited and tells me about their newest model, the SR7. It's one of the ones that mounts in the grill, etc.

I was wondering if anyone here has used it, and, if so, what you think of it.

He told me one guy in a '03 Vette has one and says it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Of course, it would have to save me some serious tickets to be worth the >$1100 he told me it costs.

Nobody's using this?

I guess that speaks volumes in itself. Unless it's just that new.

I think I'll go with the 8500.

Never understood why they call these remote units when you still have to mount something on the windshield.

It's the price man, it would have to brake the car for you and make a ticket impossible to justify half its cost!
