Are you asking how much slower your car would be b/c of the extra weight from subs and a box?

The general rule that you'll hear is "100 pounds = 1/10 in the quarter mile". (This is not specific to the 350z, but gives an order of magnitude idea of how weight will affect straight line perofrmance)

so you need to find the wieght difference between (2 W6's + box) and (2 W3's +box). (I have no idea how much either of those weigh)

hope that helps,
Peter

Last time I checked the 12 in. Zenclosures understrutbar box was only for a single 12 in. woofer. You may want to check on this.

Default fdsf

use to be he has one now that drops in the trunk not under the strut bar and points the subs up tword the glass i guess its the only way 2 12" fit it looks like it maybe really heavy and to the other guy so your sayin if im running 13.9 and i had say 200lbs of audio eqip ill prolly run 14.1 not exsactly of course but about that i know the w6's are about 35lb each so 70lb for both plus a box amp and 2awg power wire and ground and maybe a 2farad cap

That's the estimated guess...it'd be tweaked from that b/c acceleration is a function of the power to weight ratio (not including traction)- but that'd be a ball-park figure.

*If you're really interested in the exact amount, check out the drag racing section...I bet someone has done comparisons for the 350Z on weight vs. 1/4mi times.
