Default Will Stock Nav. Still Work After i Install My New Alpine CDA 9815

I was just wondering if my nav will still work properly after i install my new head unit. will it still be able to direct me to where i have to go. I haven't had a chance to take it apart yet but does anyone have a step by step guide ( for track model w/ stock nav. ). I already have the guide for the models without the nav.

USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION !

Alot of people in here have spent alot of time reporting exactly how to do this, including myself, and I still see at least one post per week on people asking the same old questions. Why is it so hard to search for stuf in here...there is 12 months worth of detailed info in these forums, but sometimes you ahve to dig a little. After all, nothing worthwhile is ever that easy, is it ?

Now that I am done bitching...

I included wire color codes in my post and explained exactly how to perform this modification.

SO, use the search function and use my name (onecoolee) and do a search on nav. You will find at least 2 threads by me detailing the info that you need...
