Kewl Radar Detector
Check this out. Works well if you have a 2 or 3 Pod Pillar. http://www.radarbusters.com/products...ler/fuzion.asp
I have Whislter's 3500 model (http://www.radarbusters.com/products/whistler/3500.asp)
it's a neat set-up with it being remote, but I get way too many false alarms and it's not loud enough to hear it all the time...and since moving to Seattle, cops use laser all over the highways - I've just slowed down and have actually taken the radar detector out.

When I lived in Everett and commuted to Bremerton
on and off for ten long months I got busted just once. That was five years ago and the favorite weapon was a radar gun and I got nailed doing 84 in a 65. The trooper pulled my license, registration, and insurance ... and I gave him my military ID card. I told him I was running late for work ... he gave me a warning (it was 4:15 in the morning) and told me to slow down ... I did that day and bought my V1 later that month.Laser is a real beach though ... I hate that stuff.

I only moved up to Seattle 6 months ago and have seen Highway patrol using laser a lot - I assume it a laser gun when they're standing outside their car and looking through the unit as if it's a gun pointing at cars , right?
when I lived in Nor-Cali, I thought Police were strict (when compared to SoCal), but coming up here, it's crazy! Cops are all over the place, hidden in on-ramps that can only been seen once you've driven past them, in unmarked non-standard Police cars (dodge charger, ford tarus, Saturns...). I'm luck to have not gotten a ticket b/c from what I hear, +10 mph is more than enough for them to ticket you without queston!

*I've been trying to do as many autoX's as possible to balance my slow driving on the street...but now that winter is hear, no more autoX's, and I'm itching to drive fast...
