Default Polk Sr6500 Questions??

I recently purchased the polk sr6500 set and i have a rather simple question....can someone explain the feature of mounting either as a component or a coaxil? Does that mean that the speakers act in a different way, or does that mean the placement of the tweeters? Also which one do you reccommend as the best sounding?

IMO in the Z, i would do coaxial configuration, point sources (highs and mids eminating from the same source) is always easier to tune and sound good

Thanks a lot for the tip, I will probably end up mounting the speaker as coaxils then.

I wouldnt mount the speakers coaxially, especially with the crappy placement of the stock speaker location. Maybe its just me, but I still cant grasp the fact that speakers can sound good with the tweeters pointing at your feet. Furthermore, those ring radiator tweeters are pretty directional and do not have good off-axis response.
