Battery Tender
Hey guys,
The Battery Tender has caught my eye in the past week or so. I only drive My Z maybe a few times during the week. And at least 1 or 2 weeks of each month not at all. My battery has always giving me trouble, and I just purchased a Optima D35... and really want to keep it in good shape.
Is the Battery Tender a good idea for me? Or is it strictly only for use for people who store there cars over a long period of time.
In many of the threads on the forums, many state that if storing your car over winter, and driving it once a week then you don't need a battery tender. But I figure I drive mine everyonce and a while and my batter is always failing on me.
So will the battery tender help in my case? (my battery is mostly drained from my amps, and hardwired valintine i seem to always forget to turn off.

most ppl power stuff like amps and radar detectors off of a switched power supply (Amps have turn on signals from the HU) and Radar detectors can run off of the Cig power supply...that way when you turn off your car, most of your stuff is off (there should be minimal power being drawn while the car is off)
