Default Blinder vs. Escort

It seems like everyone has been talking about laser jammers lately, but I still am having trouble deciding which brand to get. I have read many reviews saying that the Blinder M-20 and M-40 are the best. However, I have also heard people swear by their exort laser shifters. I was thinking about the M-20 for it's protection, but I would want rear protection too. So basically my question is, is the M-20 really that much better than the escort? I would like the comfort of front and rear protection without having to pay for the M-40.

I have read reviews in the past that the blinder is better than the escort, but I have only the escort, works fine, so the answer truthfully is very subjective. Almost all the review sites have a financial interest (they sell one or the other or both), the majority of users have had one or the other, not both, so you really have to do a blind guess. I got the escort because:
The price was right
It integrated radar and laser
Had the features I wanted (built in, rear protection, display unit, alert LED, external optional speaker).

Also, at the time I purchased mine, the blinder was not that well known.

Good luck sorting it out.

I also agree when I was looking there were several sites and articles discussing jamming systems. This caused some confusion, but I decided on getting the Escort laser Jammer system since I already owned the Escort Radar detector and could intergrate the two.
I have been impressed with the system and have not regretted spending the extra money for. It beats getting tagged by LIDAR and then getting a ticket.

So I guess in summary I would still choose the Escort and get the rear detection system. The last ticket I recieved before the system was installed was from the rear. So I would suggest rear jamming system.

The Z3 shifters saved my a@# about two weeks ago, proving to me it was a smart buy. Of course I don't know if the blinders would have done the same.

I ended up buying the escort. I have been completely satisfied with them so far. I do not even have a front license, so my headlights are probably the target. The jammers mounted in the bumper still do a nice job of jamming the lasers. Plus integrating with my escort radar detector is an added bonus.
