Default Got a Navigation system!

I finally caved and bought a navi unit for the Z. I purchased a Mio Digiwalker c310x from Staples for $199 (on sale). I absolutely love the unit, easy interface to use, nice voice for the directions, acts as an MP3 player too! Flat screen, sharp picture. Very happy. Hard to come by though! Every store here in Columbus, OH had sold out of their stock by 1:00pm today, I was lucky to find one of the last ones not sold, but I had to drive nearly 40 minutes to get to the Staples store that had it.

Anyone else have the same unit as me? Are you happy with it? How did you mount it in your Z?

Never heard of it. I would only buy a unit from company that specializes in GPS like Garmin or Magellan. Throw up some pics when you get it in.

Once you go Garmin you never go back.

The user interface is where it's at for me.

mio makes the best looking gps. I have an old Magellan POS,that takes like 10 to pickup satellite, and a pocket PC that's pretty crappy. I think it went sluggish over time or sum'n.. had it for a few years.

So far I am really happy with the interface on the Mio Digiwalker c310x. The voice guidance is excellent, big sharp touch screen, easy to use and hear in the car.

I will take pics of it today in my z. I still have to figure out how i am going to run the car charger. The unit has a 5 hour battery life by itself, but I think I'm still going to run the charging cable so that it never dies out on me.

kdogg24 - congrats on the GPS unit! For my Nuvi 350, I just plug the charger into the front 12V slot and ran the wire into the back of center console. I had to take the cubby/console out but that only took a few minutes. I popped the right plastic side panel out a little and fed the adapter plug from the inside out.

Does your GPS unit get good reception sitting inside the cubby?
