New Head Unit Question
I have the Touring model with the "nice" Bose head unit. I want to replace the head unit. I was told mby someone reliable I would have to replace ALL the Bose stuff, speakers, amps, whatever in order to replace the head unit. Is this true???

The 'Bose' system uses some kind of funky resistance rating for their speakers. You'd have to find some way of getting the HU to match it.
If you're replacing the HU, go all the way. You'd actually laugh (or maybe even cry) once you take a look at the speakers. Replacing the HU will sound pretty much the same as with the stock.
Even buying moderately priced speakers, the systme will sound 1K times better.
I went with a powered HU and an amp for the sub. I don't regret tearing out that system for a second.
Hope this helps...
