Default electrical problems or my car is possessed

so I had a pioneer avic-d2 navigation system installed in my 06 base by a shop that the nissan dealership recommended about a month and a half ago. Since then every once in awhile when I'm driving a lil more spirited than usual the vanity lights turn on, the doors unlock, and the windows drop a little bit (as if the door was opening). It was kinda scary the first time when it happened on the freeway and i thought the doors were going to open, which never happend.

I took the car to a nissan dealership and they said that they never heard of this before and drove the car themselves and could not replicate what I had told them. So they said they couldn't do anything to fix the problem since they didn't observe it. So has this happened to anyone here? If so what should i do next?

well, the fact that it effects 3 different things should narrow it down alot, but I don't have a schematic....it must be killing than restoring power to get those effects.....bad connection/damaged wire somewhere....if they share a fuse, you need to trace the wire from the box to the area behind the dash, good hunting.

Did you have them put in door speakers?

All three of those things are the result the door opening. So that sort of points me into the door where if the lock switch was loose and shorting out.

The body control module is located directly beneath the fuse block. This black box controls all of the functions you mentioned. I'd start by making sure the plugs are secure here.

If they ran new speaker wires in to the doors I would start looking there. Other then that, you'll need to figure out exactly what it takes to duplicate the problem, and then show the Nissan techs.

I believe the is a TSB out on the Body Control Module for older Z's, but you may want to check with the dealer to see if it affects 06's as well. Before that, and as other have suggested, make sure your connections are tight.

I just checked and all the connects are ok. Oh and the door speakers are still stock. It hasn't happened since I first posted so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it won't happen again. Thanks for the help.
