Default Basslink II Firing Question

I plan on installing the BasslinkII in the near future behind the driver's seat in the stock sub hole. I have searched several threads but have been unable to find out the answer to my question: Should the basslink II be mounted with the sub facing up or down?

Will the Basslink II fit? From the installs of the reg Basslink I've seen here, they have it firing down and mounted at a bit of an angle.

Yes it will fit just fine. I actually installed my basslink2 few days ago. Dont use the auto turn on feature, it doesnt work that good.

The basslink2 has a square woofer on one side, and the other side is a radiator, so essentially both sides are making sound, and it doesnt matter what side is up I dont think.

Really the hardest part was removing the panel that the stock bose sub mounts to. It took me about 4 hours to install, taking my time mostly. I also hooked it up with line leve inputs, but ran the RCA's up for when I decide to upgrade the stock radio. I had to turn the gain down and the bass boost way up because the stock radio attenuates the bass as you turn it up. Oh, and the sound is the same with the panel cover on or off, so you dont really need to get a bose type cover...

I've read about installs facing them down that worked well, either way your good I think. Not sure if I wanna go that route or for some subs and amps.
