Question I narrowed down the sub choices! Help me pick

HELP! I am going abosoltley nuts looking at all the choices out there. I going PC blind with all my rearch, but I think I've narrowed it down to these 10" subs for SQ first with some SPL.
Please, who has experience with these subs and what would give the best quality sound while being loud??????

Kicker VX10
Xtant X1044
MTX Thunder 9500
Adire Mark III 10" brahma
Rockford Fosgate T110D4

These subs are going in this Zenclosure with approx. 1.41 cu. ft. total airspace. The box is divided into two chambers with .70 cu ft per sub/chamber.
Mounting Depth: 8.5"+
Mounting Hole: 9 1/8" this is standard for most 10" subwoofers
Condstucted with 3/4" MDF
Sealed Airtight
Look here for visual....

And should I run 2 or 4ohm and why?
And what is you amp of choice?
Does anyone like PPI amps???

An ID sub is a great choice, check them out before you purchase.

PPI amps are not what they used to be. Once DI bought them the quality began a downward trend. At this point I believe they are overpriced for the quality...

PG amps are a good substitute, one can be had through auction on Ebay for a little over 300, which should provide plenty of power for your setup.

+1 on Phoenix Gold amp. I would try to keep your ohms at 4 but n lower than 2 if needs to for sound quality.

I owned PG amps for over 15 years. Never ever, any of them gave me problems. I don't know about their less costly amps though.

That MTX is a serious sub.... you want two in a Z? I don't think you have enough airspace with that enclosure for 2 10' MTX 9500's (each sub needs 1.25 cu ft of airspace per sub)

You need 9 5/16 mounting depth for the MTX 9500 you got 8.5 with that enclosure.

It does need to be deeper, but I could do a custom box if they were worth it with 1" more depth.
Check out enclosure airspace specs for sealed box here.....

I have been reading excellent reviews on the Brahma sub. I haven't been able to find one negative comment AND they LOVE small enclosures!!!!

oh another thing you want to avid is mounting the amps n the box directly. The vabration of the sub make the circuit board vibrate, could cause damamge on the long run.

2 ohms 4 sure

sounds like your leaning toward sealed

the T1 is gonna due better ported than sealed

Kicker IMO i only like L7 & Solo X , and they will do better ported than sealed

i do not like the kicker your asking about but is okay sealed

the mtx and brahma will also do better ported

x-tant do not know if it will do better ported or sealed

decide whether you are gonna 4 sure have a ported or sealed enclouse

than decide what sub is best for sealed and can 2 ohm

then find out how much rms the sub takes

then buy a 2 ohm stable mono amp that makes what the sub needs
