Default Sirius radio through Car Computer

I have been gather all the pieces for my car computer over the last couple months. I have a mac mini running bootcamp. The last component I need, at least for now, is satellite radio. I would like to be able to control the sirius through the PC. I think I will need this:

http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...Code=SAT%2D003

Or is that only for alpine units?

I have the Bose stereo that is satellite ready. What all do I need. I know I will need an antenna and a tuner, do I need anything else? Any help would be appreciated.

Yea that is what you need. I am able to controll the sirius via my carpc. It works great and you see all the songs playing on all channels at the same time. You get teh alpine tuner and teh usb control for it. You have to open it up and replace teh control board. Then you ahve optical stero and usb. Works great.

If you need any help with the carpc I have lots of experiance.

So the alpine tuner will work even though I have the stock Bose system?

Yea because you are connecting the tuner to the carpc not the hu. You just need to hook up the audio from the pc to the bose wither with the fm adatper tape adapter or the aux mod, or i think you can buy an adapter to do that.

You need the apline tuner and the interface card both i got from mp3car.com

anybody going with the pc card audigy or have suggestions on what good soundcard interfaces to use for stuff like extra audio inputs such as a sat radio line level? i am deciding whether to just use the fm modulator built in the sat unit cuz its sounds fair enough instead of running line level and needing the carputer to run thru the sound.
