So i sold my tiburon and gonna use some of the money for a sound system. I done a lot of search and readying but still need some help.

I am thinking of going with the pioneer 6800dvd as well as a carpc in the cubby for media and navi. The hu will be there for dvds and stuff and its mroe riable than a carpc so if it dies I have a fully functionly HU.


Then I want to get some good components for the front but i am not quite sure what to get.

I have about 1500-2000 spend max. The Hu is gonna be about 900. I am doing all the install my self.


I want something that is super clear at any volume but i want really good lows. I want to put a sub in the stock location, since i want to keep my limited truck space for trips and stuff.


I want to keep the stock look for the most part. So i need to find tweeters and speakers that fit in the stock location with no extra pods.

And then for the rear just something mid grade since you can't hear much out of them.

I saw the focals they seem pretty good but will they fit?

Not sure what amp i am gonna use i have a RF p4004 400/4 amp i used in the tiburon jsut for the subs. So shoudl i just use that? I want a quialty system what will sound good and clear but good bass not like 2 12;s bass but better than stock and want to bump it sometimes if i am in the mood. I had 2 sony 10's in the tiburon.

I was reading that all the speakers shoudl be the same brand or does that not matter since you can't hear the rears much anyway?


So what is out there what I can use?
