Thank you Alpine....all IVA-W200 owners like myself must feel like crap now....introducing the new IVA-W205....who needs an almost new w200 cheap

they should have done the caller id crap on the w200 from the get go!!!!

and I was planning to buy the Blackbird and see what they did to the new W205.....agghhhh

 

i think we will be seeing the same thing next year whent he IVA-210 comes out with even more super duper stuff like a motorized hand that comes out and gives you a back massage or something

the fact is with headunits and media centers, it becoming almost like computers, new and better things come out every year...that makes you want something new...

 

I understand that, but come on....caller id? i saw a jensen radio with caller id enable feature, and for Alpine not to do it on the first try is ridiculous, the radio just came out 11 months ago... well I guess I'll be selling my radio and Alpine bluetooth in a few months, all I wanted was for the caller id to be displayed, since eveytime the phone rings I have to dig it out of my azz to see who's calling, also I was just pricing a Blackbird at Best buy but I guess the game plan has changed since in the new radio you get to stuff this gps inside the radio....aggghhhh....ok I feel better...how am I gonna tell the wife that I need a new radio and bluetooth interface when she just gave me this for my b-day back in may?.....

I too hate buying something then finding out that they made it even better a few months down the road. However, your post is great news to me. I was just about to order the w200 and at the last minute decided to wait and see what the ces would bring. I'm glad I waited!!
