just wanna know and have ideas about what to add in my indash emoty space.. nav or dvd player or ipod... so i decided to strat this thread and get an idea what you ppl have installed in your cars..

wow thats cool man ... first time i;ve seen that on Z. but dont you feel the vibration on the dash bored ... it doesnt bother you ???

Forgive me, off subject. Mike, where did you get that skin and what software are you running? Can you change it to be more amber in color?

budget picks goes to lilliput or xenarc, try mp3car.com's store or digitalww.com if you need one, from $300-400. xenarc has an auto-sensing av switch so it's better for reverse cam setups that are wired to the reverse light.

i'm running Roadrunner with the BMV skin I modified to match the dash (i believe Feb made it, comes with regular RR install / sorry if i credited the wrong person). just did a few changes: got rid of the brushed aluminum background, changed the gradients on the buttons, and switched up the main buttons to reflect my needs (traffic and weather are up front, rear-view cam replaces tv button)

most of the generated text on the skin can be modified in the .skin files by setting the text colors, so yes you can make it more amber. it's pretty close when was I eyeballing it, but obviously the pic shows it's slightly lighter than the dash.

 

nope...never hear any vibrations at all...it sounds good though with the speaker right in your face.

 

coooool .. i think that i should consider this option seroiusly...
