no saga's
and there already is a acc and a Battery + that the yellow and the red wires.
So I think the orange is the 12v coming from the ign harness
and thats the only thing I thought the brown could be was the illumination wire.
Why would it need to power supplies though ?
Thanks Roger

Orange - 12V source that's not switched...you can tap into this from the HU (this means that your guages always needs some power - you could just run a wire directly from the battery)
Brown - I'd guess that's the 'illumination' wire, which you can also tap from the HU (this will dim the new guages lights when you use the dimmer on the car)
hope that helps,
Peter

There are three kinds of power wires in a car:
12vdc - Reads 12vdc at all time because it is connected directly to the battery
Ignition - Reads 0vdc when the car is off (most likely actually rests at ground) but reads 12vdc in the on AND crank position
Accessory - Reads 0vdc when the car is off, reads 12vdc in the ACC and ON position but NOT the crank position.
It sounds like you need one of each, which is pretty retarded for a set of guages....
