Default How much have you spent on your Z's sound system?

I looking at getting rid of the Bose factory speakers and amps and was wondering how much other owners have paid for a new system. Please include what type of speakers and/or the total install price. How do you like your system now?

1 pair Panasonic Tweeters

I spent close close to $7500.00
Everything Alpine:
D310 head unit
nve872a Navigation
MRA D550 Digital Theater Amp
MRP D650 Mono Amp
2 sets of SPX177r type X speakers
1 SBS-05DC center channel speaker
2 10'' Type R subs
1 Zenclosure 2x10'' sub box
1 Sirius adapter

And a **** load of wiring and accessories!

Just like Z350BOY, My stereo is also stealth except the subs and headunit. Sound quality is the best I have ever heard! Very crisp and clear.

Also I live in northern Maryland and have done around 10 350z installs. If you need the help, I'll give you a hand on installing everything you get. Just PM me.

damn, some guys have spent more than some of my SQ installs wtih equipment and labor together

i personally think a very clean, and really top notch SQ install can be achieved in the Z (sans double din nav headunit) for aorund 4k in equipment and labor, i mean someting that looks good and with some tuning, can do well in sq comps

again, i am quoting my own prices of course

i cant believe how much some people are spending, although you have to take into consideration most ppl have video screens and whatnot. and also prices for parts and especially labor will def. change from person to person.
i know a local place that charges crazy amounts of money and theyre best install ive seen was a few boxes stacked on top of each other that to the average person looked hard to make. on the other hand for the same price range i know a guy who has done world class stuff and is a genious in designing stuff.

anyone looking to get a system together, save money and shop around, i bought about 3400 dollars of stuff for about 1900. its mostly high end stuff, but what isnt is the top of the line of the everyday brand. and do your own work! have a shop build the box if you need but run your own wires, lay your own carpet, those things arent hard.
