Stock Stereo: CD Skips???

Stock Stereo: CD Skips???
so i realized that the stock system on the Z's sucks. The cd skips on every bump, but ONLY when the car is cold.
LoL. How ya explain that one. My question is how much would the insert cost that goes in the place of the stock unit when i get an aftermarket one? If anyone has any tips, they will be greatly appreciated.
