Default Alarm install central lock problem

Hey all,
I searched for about an hour and found nothing so here goes.

My alarm is currently getting installed. They ran into a problem with the central locking cause it is cable driven and not rod driven. They usually use an actuator for rod but how do you get around cable?

Other question is i know you can bypass clutch wire for remote start but how?

Aslo i've read there is a bypass module that doesn't require you to leave a key in the car, where can i find one or what is it called?

thankyou

The locking system is electronic, so it has nothing to do with cables or rods. I would be very skeptical of the ability of this shop.

You should be able to run wires in to the doors to access the electronic lock/unlock functions. There has to be a way to manually disable the alarm with the remote, in case you lose/break your remote.

Clint84,,,normally when an auto shop is using an actuator/push,pull rod, for the locking system of the auto,,it is when they do not have electric locks. A car with electrick locks,,,,,like posted above,,,you should only have to tap the wires going to the doors that control the lock/unlock and possible window up and down,,depending on what functions your aftermarket alarm comes with.
