Default Another V1 Mirror Finished - Laser Etching

I recently finished another V1 mirror conversion for a gentlemen. Here are the pictures. The arrows and number display were left red, with the band identification and the strength bar being changed out.

Wow, that is by FAR the cleanest V1 mirror install! BTW, his work is top notch. If you want LEDs, you can't go wrong with Acree.

do you cut the actual mirror, or scratch off the coating to let the display be seen?

Awesome work.

Looks great! I saw one on craigslist here in boston. But the base unit still needs to be in a good position for signal, right? So it doesn't make it completly stealth setup? I love the idea casue i want a good detector that is invisible for less than the true stealth setups.

Not that I know of. Atleast not a step by step.

Awesome work.
The process is complex, but the glass itself is left alone. The coating on the back is removed.

I'm not quite sure what that is, but I would be willing to try.

That is exactly how it works. I installed mine as seen here.

I recommend everyone who orders my conversion to do the same. It works wonderful and no one knows its there, but me.

I don't think he's doing the etching anymore. Three years thread bump.
