Hi, Your question has been discussed many times here on my350z.com. You can purchase a prefabricated SubW enclosure that fits behind the Z’s driver or passenger seat. You can also purchase the enclosure loaded with a SubW from at least one vendor on my350z.com.
There are also detailed diagrams with complete measurements for building a SubW enclosure if you want to do this yourself.

I'm a noob!
Here's mine:

The finished install uses the the OEM Bose metal plate and plastic trim panel, so it looks 100% stock. The sub amp is inside the glovebox (pictured), and the other 4-ch. amp is under the glovebox. Main speakers are Boston separates, deck is a Kenwood touchscreen (can't remember the model #).

Forgot the dimensions of the box, and I know you'll ask. It's 18.5" left-to-right, 12.5" front-to-back, 6.5" high, glued and screwed 3/4" MDF. Sub is 10", interior volume is just under 0.6 cu. ft. and my sub required 0.65, so I added 1/2 pound of fiberfill. With a plain rectangle, that's the biggest possible box that area will accept, but volume could be increased if one wanted to construct a trapezoid, or other odd shape.

I wonder how it sounds without a speaker grille? If you use it to replace your glovebox (passenger side), and you had a Bose sub you removed on the other side, I guess you'd be OK. But, if you mounted it to replace the Bose sub (driver side), then there isn't any way to have a speaker grille to let the sound pressure out.

I bought 1 Wickedcas JL 13.5 sub to put in the stock bose location... not for me, I blew it by listening to the only type of music subs need apply... I got 2 of their JL 10w3 subs and replaced the factory bose loc and glove box. The bose grill is really an astetic piece.. it looks good but for the downfiring application of these subs there is no diff... but putting a Rockford Fosgate 1000d.1 amp a 1 farad cap and new door/sail panel speakes as well as coustom kicks with 6 3/4" Polk audio/MOMO components powered by an MTX amp sending 75 watts RMS to the highs/mids per side and 500 watts RMS to each sub... it knocks with no space taken up at all.....

I can only tell you the custom box I made with the 10" JL sub sounds pretty good (the other 4 speakers are Boston separates). Cost for the MDF, screws, caulking, FatMat, etc, was only ~$50. I was trying for an accurate sound, only loud enough to listen to inside the car, and it does that very well. if you're looking for something to rattle the rear hatch, this isn't going to work for you.
Getting the most volume in a box that has to fit such a small space is the problem. I would have bought a pre-made box, but couldn't find one to fit. The dimensions of mine are the most you can get into that opening,
